Example Applications:
Active Noise Cancellation For a hard real-time (< 10μs sampling) active noise cancellation system Tactiq used the BLACKfin (ADSP-BF5xx) to satisfy the power, performance and cost requirements for the main processor. The system cancels both stochastic and predictable noise in some very harsh environments.
Nuclear Medicine Image Acquisition system The design for very powerful and fast image acquisition system required the use of eight ADI DSPs and additional hardware accelerators to process gamma events in less than 2μs.
Industrial vibration equipment A 32bit SHARC DSP was selected as part of the electronics platform of a large vibration testing system. For this real-time application, algorithms were developed for a closed loop adaptive control system measuring eight accelerometers and controlling the vibration.
